Innovative Business Models in Haiti: Linking profit, sustainability and social investment was organized by FOCAL  and  the  Inter-American  Development  Bank  (IDB). The  purpose  of the meeting was to  discuss  innovative  business  models  in  Haiti,  identify  the  link between businesses and social endeavors and promote greater social investment ventures in Haiti. The event  brought  together leaders  from  the  business and  social  investment  community  in Canada, the United States, and Haiti, as well as high level representatives from FOCAL and the IDB.
